The Ohio Treasurer’s Office launched a new transparency initiative, Ohiocheckbook.com, a website for taxpayers to review a public entity’s spending. Canton Local Schools is proud to announce that our transparency website is now open to the public. Our information can access by going to Ohiocheckbook.com and clicking on the Local Government and Schools tab in the upper left corner of the site then using the map to locate our district.
The Canton Local Board and Administration believe it is very important to provide the opportunity for our residents to understand and track where the dollars go in their schools. The Ohiocheckbook.com site offers us another way to deliver the information and to demonstrate to our taxpayers that we are using their hard-earned dollars to educate, transport, feed, coach, counsel and support the students in the Canton Local School District in the most cost-effective manner. |
